Slice of life - Early March 2009.

I got a new camera last weekend. I've been shooting like a fiend. I feel like it's time to document life in Colorado Springs, before it slips away someday.

D300 Glory

Us designers are going on a photo crawl this afternoon, and since my personal camera has about a 30 second battery life, I get to use the company's D300. (Yussssssss...) But first I have to get the hang of such a fancy camera. So here are some practice shots:

Waiting for Good Eau

Taken from this photograph by Keith W. Laumb, a mostly long-forgotten photographer and teacher. I was trying to capture a Parisian feel with it. The photograph really trumps my efforts, but I'm pleased nonetheless.
