Portrait party

We had a portrait party at lunch today. Sarah, Dan, and James done in charcoal, pastel, watercolor crayons, and conte crayons.

Outreach presentation

I had to draw to keep myself from cringing whenever they volunteered more of my time. And trust me, they volunteered A LOT.

Six people and a cup of tea

I bring a cahier with me to pretty much anywhere I go, including church. My mind tends to wander, and sketching a person talking helps me focus. I'll do enough of these to someday have a style. An interesting thing to note here is that, contrary to countless ads and flyers surrounding evangelical America, the people aren't actually smiling.

The Fine Arts Center is a great place to practice drawing fast. I absolutely love how these turned out, despite some of them being completely unrecognizable.
